Thanksgiving 2009

It is that time to say thanks to everyone in
my life this past year. First, I got to visit the
statue of my famous ancestor, Rollo the
Viking.
My bird, Babe, turned 15 this year and my
buddy, Jennie, joined the Coast Guard. I
finally got to meet my great-nephew Ethan
whois pictured with Sizzle the Bull at a
Kansas City T-Bones game.
I'm thankful for all my students and my
fellow teachers and administrators at the
Academy of Court Reporting.
I got to Florida to see my Tampa friends,
Jim,Teddi and Zach Bovis (below right) as
well as my former boss, Tom Parks. Also, I got to
reconnect with Tampa basketball friends, below,
(l-r) Chris, Zach (again) Richard and Alex.
And, my good friend Johnny bought Tampa's
Proud Lion Pub.
To the left are some of my fabulous Virginia
Marti College students. I appreciate them as
well as the privilege to shoot the College's
fashion shows, also full of VMCAD students.
Got to travel to see new baseball stadiums in five cities. I met a
baseball buddy, Scott Robinson, dressed as a blind ump along with
people and their duck umbrellas in Charleston at a West Virginia
Power game. While in Fargo visiting the statue of Rollo, I met zombies.
This annual pub crawl was well deserved by people who helped save
that city from flooding. Pictured also is Yurendell DeCaster of the
Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. Below that is future Indians star, Matt
LaPorta, as he bats at the new Columbus (OH) Clippers stadium and
I have new baseball neighbors in Avon - The Lake Erie Crushers.
As poor of a year as it has been for the Indians and Browns, one bright
sport was the Cleveland State Vikings who went to the NCAA tournament.
I'm pictured with one of their stars, J'Nathan Bullock, as well as many
of their best supporters including basketball buddy Heather who is
always looking for a reason to celebrate too as do the cheerleaders.
Finally, thanks to all the Hooters waitresses who waited on me and
signed the traveling Hooters T-Shirt.
